How do I check if my old phone is eligible for exchange?
To check if your old phone is eligible for exchange
Go to page of the new product you want to purchase
Choose a delivery address or enter a pin code in the “Delivery to” widget
Select “With Exchange”
Select the brand from the dropdown
Click on Select Model to check if your old phone is available for exchange
Is there any other information I need to provide?
You need to enter the IMEI of the old phone you want to return; to find the IMEI dial *#06# on the phone that you want to exchange.
I see two IMEI numbers on my phone, do I need to provide both for exchange?
No, you need to enter only one of them into the IMEI field.
My phone screen is broken, can I still exchange it?
No, phones that are not in working condition or have a broken screen / body or touch screen issues cannot be exchanged. Our delivery associate will verify the details you have entered and check the condition of the phone before delivering the new product.
How should I send the old phone to Amazon?
Your old phone will be verified and picked up by the delivery associate at the time of delivery of your order.
How do I prepare my old phone for exchange? Do I need original accessories and packaging for the used product?
You can prepare your phone for exchange by (i) Creating a backup of your data, (ii) Removing the screen lock code, (iii) Logging out of your iCloud/Google or any other system associated account, (iv) Erasing your personal data. We recommend that you return the used product with original accessories and packaging. However, it is not mandatory.
Can I exchange more than one old phone in an order?
No, you can exchange only one old phone per order.
I don’t have the phone whose details I entered while ordering, can I exchange a different phone during delivery?
No, you must exchange the old phone whose details were entered while placing the order. The value provided is applicable only for that device. If the details entered do not match, the delivery of the new product will be suspended and order cancelled.
Can I get my used product back?
Once a used product has been picked up, we will not be able to return it as it would have already been collected and processed by our third-party exchange partners. In case you have returned your order for a refund, subject to the return policy, an Amazon Gift card issued by QwikCilver Solutions Private Limited, equivalent to the Exchange Offer value will be credited to your Amazon.in account. What if I have personal data on my phone?
Please ensure you delete all the data on your device before handing it over for exchange. Amazon or its affiliates, the seller, the exchange partner, the future buyer or the manufacturer will not be responsible for any data that may be retained on the phone, and you cannot approach any of the above parties for any retrieval or deletion of the data on your used device.
