Who needs a watchman when you've got NETGEAR's Arlo Q plus!
16 June 2017
I've been waiting for something just like this. In an age where security is the biggest concern in any household, NETGEAR's Arlo Q plus provides just the solution. First of all, the video quality of footages recorded on the Q plus is much better than any of the security cameras available in the market (thanks to its 1080p video recording quality). What this does is that it enables me to take note of many more things on a screen which I'd have otherwise missed on a low-resolution, pixelated camera feed. My favourite feature, though, is the motion and sound detection; the Q plus notifies me on detection of motion/ sound in the current frame, and that too on a nifty little app that's available on my smartphone. Speaking of the app - it's got a lot of great features, including the ability to share recorded feeds to my friends or on social media.
If you're using the Q plus as an everyday surveillance system, there are a lot of things that can happen over the course of a single day. This, in turn, means that the amount of data that you're storing gets accumulated. And given that there's a limited storage space defined with the Arlo Q plus (it gives you 7 days worth of free storage), you WILL be compelled to delete some recordings. And somewhere in my mind, no matter how old the data is, the fact that we must delete it at some point or the other does not go down too well with me. But that's just me being too greedy, I guess.
I think I've expressed myself well enough, and there are more than the satisfactory number of reasons for you to invest in the Arlo Q plus.
