Good for people wanting to go from 'Fat' to 'Fit'
1 March 2017
ok, I've had this a month. I bought it because of the body index option. I'm big, and it's nice to see I'm turning some of my fat into muscle. i also can see just how little I move some days at work.
A lot of people complain about the lack luster TomTom MySports app, and last week it was replaced with Tomtom Sports. the new app syncs better and is easier to navigate.
Pros... the step counter, relatively easy to use, good pulse meter, but best of all is the body mass index device.
Cons... using pulse all day eats the battery, battery life isn't great (2 to 3 days)
neutral.. bracelet isn't bad, isn't good... it has fallen off a couple of times, but I try to be careful. App is ok. I've heard other trackers have better apps, but since I've not used them, I don't worry.
So far, no one else makes a fitness tracker that does what this does, and for a unfit and fat person like myself, this is what I need to get me aware and moving, and to help see if I am getting slimmer.
Overall I'm pleased. because the Tomtom Touch is making me more conscious of my inactivity, and urges me to move around a bit more each day.
