The description of the book is enough to know what is contained within... the stories of Lord Shiva; five stories describing emotions or feelings that a human being or even a God can experience.
I am here to say that the book is well researched and written by the up and coming author Shweta Taneja. The thing that surprised me most was the use of swear words in a graphic novel. If I remember correctly, I haven't seen language like this used in any other comic series or graphic novel of an Indian origin. Why am I telling you this? Because it add's to the element of the emotions the characters feel at that time in the story and makes it exciting for us modern readers who have looked at mythological stories with awe, and a little bit of boredom. The beautiful black and white artwork by various artists adds an air of uniqueness to these stories, bringing the characters to life in every panel and page.
This graphic novel is worth picking up and reading. I am expecting a lot more original titles like these to come out from the pens and pencils of Shweta Taneja, Vivek Goel, Gaurav Shrivastav, Ghanshyam Bochgeri, Sushant Panda and Tahir Kapadia.
