Awesome suspense thriller, worth reading
17 December 2018
Honestly, I just had to make time to start reading the first 1 or 2 chapters, because after that the curiosity built inside took over and did the magic till I reached the last page. Just a few from many reasons to give a 5 star rating are the vivid articulation of the story, the way the mysteries started unfolding one level deeper with each chapter, the way inside one story there are many stories perfectly connected to each other and played their roles with great relevance and significance etc. The chapter names were equally interesting as apt for a crime thriller. Initially they gave me a sense of an well-organized and a well-sequenced story, but as I moved on, I could connect to their importance beyond their names and to the core of their existence. While enjoying the novel thoroughly I had been tensed, anxious, thrilled, joyful and experienced the moments as real, putting my feet in detective Amar’s shoes. It’s a beautifully narrated story with simple language which has been phenomenal to keep the readers thoughts marinated with their imagination and prediction for the next moves and hold the suspense on. The author has kept no stone unturned, for which I like it the most. The bonus for me was glorification of the female characters. All these had left to me, as a reader a long lasting impression of utmost pleasure.
If you enjoy suspense thrillers and/or looking for an awesome crime thriller with beautiful narration, “CASE NO. 56” is a must read.
I sincerely thank the author Chandrasekhar for gifting us with such a wonderful creation. I wish him all the very best for his next books, which I will be waiting for.
