I have been using EPSON L220 since 2016 and recently due to my mishandling of carrying it vertically ink leaked into board and got short. The replacement cost was more than its residual value, so I decided to go for a new printer. My preference was once again EPSON and this EPSON L3152 in specific. But due to its shortage in retail stores and little late delivery date in amazon, I decided to opt for HP as I already own a HP laptop too.
The only drawback what I noticed during my comparative study is that the Printing Speed. No one can beat EPSON. For a ordinary user or a first time buyer, we may feel that it doesnt matter much. But believe me, if you had to take a print out of 100 pages notes or documents, waiting for it to print really matters. But still I have opted to go for HP as amazon promised to deliver the next day morning and even I thought of giving a try to a different branch. Following are few of the advantages I have noticed in my last 10 days of usage,

1) Installation is easy, just follow the instruction sheet or there are "n" number of videos in Youtube guiding you step by step. I watched youtube and installed. Need not wait for service engineer.
2) Filling ink was great. In EPSON in my previous L220 filling ink was always a shabby wory, as there used to be spillage. But the bottle HP gave was awesome, ink enters even if you turn upside down only if you fit in the printer. I would give 5/5 for this.
3) The printer has connection via WIFI, Wired, through Cloud prnting and also via email. Yes you read it right, the HP Printer has a dedicated email id and you just send a mail to and it prints. Note, the printer had to remain connected to WiFi. I am using wireless only.
4) Easy to print via mobile app. I dont even open my laptop. The HP app and Plug in allows wasy printing.

Cons
1) The printing speed. I was aware even before I bought.
2) I am not bit satisfied with the printer software. EPSON had much more features.

Its a good printer. I would still say EPSON is the best and HP is second to it.
Disclaimer: I have not used the latest models of EPSON. My view on EPSON is purely on my 5 year experience with EPSON L220 which was the best printer available that time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Probably the best wireless/colour printer for home!

Its been more than two years since we purchased it. We had to purchase because of covid the online classes started and we need to print the class assignments etc. Slowly, our usage started increasing to other things as well including printing glossy photographs.

We couldn't have been more satisfied with it. It works seamlessly. Easy to install. Easy to use. The inks are great - we have continued with the original cartridges that were provided with the order. The black is 75% done while the coloured inks are ~30% done. And we print fairly regularly.

The print quality hasn't deteriorated over the last two years even though we have been using the same ink! That's amazing and not something I honestly expected even though the reviews said that the inks last very long.

It obviously has limitations like no support for printing on both sides simultaneously. The print speed is slow too. But for the price it is expected.

Highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced, long lasting, home printing solution.

I bought it during COVID in May 2020. All fine in May. In mid June when we tried printing , didn’t come thought ink over. After market opened up bought ink & tried but no use. Whenever we try to print . Now finally the mechanic says there’s a mechanical problem & as it’s out of warranty , we’ve to get it repaired. Generally electronic items defective pieces are sold in Amazon as told by my friend, I didn’t believe as I buy almost everything from Amazon.
Now Iam worried about laptop & iPhone 13 bought from Amazon.

I like this product. Easy to install. Works well with wireless and wired mode. Easy to scan. I printed photos with photo paper and seems it provides decent quality.

Ho smar app is a waste:
The disappointing thing is HP smart app. I don't know why they calling it as smart app. It tools too much time for the app to even detect printer. Other native windows app detected printer even faster than that.

2.0 out of 5 stars Worst Printer ever used
Reviewed in India 🇮🇳 on 31 October 2020

The media could not be loaded.
The printer turns out to be one of the worst purhase decisions we made.

It worked fine for 2 months in the beginning but the condition is really bad after that.

1.It gives error 2/3/4 which are only described in online video platforms as non debuggable errors.
Once you get that error you as a user cannot solve the issue yourself.
Saw various videos which said a paper should be stuck but there was none. Checked using torches and various methods mentioned on online video platforms. It kills your time and gives you no output.
The only option you have is to wait for 3-4 days after which the printer decides that it can now print again.

2. Color Printout on glossy sheets is smudgy.
When you buy a Rs12,000 color printer you would want to take out some photos on a glossy sheet.
The printer let's you do that but you cannot touch the printed part of the paper for ever. IF you do it leaves a black residue and smudges the whole photograph. The printout is simply untouchable for ever.

3. Printer stops during Printing.
Sometimes the printer stops midway during printing. You just wait and cajole the printer to throw out the sheet but it won't. It holds on to the sheet even though it has printed it and you cannot use your print.

4. Device does not allow Wifi printing
We have an airtel wifi in the house for 5 years now. Quite consistent in speed and performance.
The HP printer allows wifi printing on certain days from the mobile and on other days you need to switch on the laptop to print using wifi.
The mobile wi-fi printing the main reason we purchased the printer simply does not work.

5. HP Smart App.
The HP smart app does not show any error or problem even when the printer shows Error3/4. It keeps showing the printer is Ready.
We keep sending the prints but nothing get's printed.

6. Poor Customer Service.
a. The customer service number is not reachable from Airtel phones. It gets disconnected within 1 second of dialing the call.
b. From prepaid vodafone numbers it says the call is chargeable and disconnects the call.

7. The printer has already broken down twice in the 3 months that we have owned it. Ticket logging with HP is a headache. You are asked to explain and try everything on your own from fiddling with the printer when it is on to taking out the printer heads and replacing them back when the printer is still on. At the end of a 30-40 minute conversation they log your ticket and assign an engineer a day later. the engineer further takes between 3-4 days to come and set the printer right.
Both the times parts had to be changed and that is what we were trying to explain to the Customer Rep but they make it sound as your mistake.(Paper would be stuck, not enough ink, paper gsm quality, paper company, type etc)

Alas the poor quaity problem remains the same. If you buy a home printer you are likely to suffer for having paid these companies.

2.0 out of 5 stars Something fishy with the seller (Appario Limited). Not happy!

I faced a host of issues with setup:
It arrived fast, but there are problems with technical support and the seller.

1. Seller has started the warranty before sale. My printer had the warranty period started 1 month before I even purchased the product when I checked online. Please type HP warranty check and make sure you don't have this issue! If you do, call HP support, show them the invoice and payslip with serial number and urgently update the mismatch. It will take 24-48 hours.
2. When I tried to set up the printer, I ran into some issues with the wifi setup, and trust me it takes a tech savvy person at least 45 minutes to figure out how to proceed. So then I wanted to request a HP installation engineer (which every customer with a new product is entitled to).
3. The seller has *already* used my printer's unique serial number to register an engineer installation for someone else some time before selling me the product. I cannot have a free HP engineer come to my house now as they only do it once and HP asked me to contact the amazon seller directly. So if you need an engineer's help, then good luck. You will have to call HP technical support and do everything yourself like I did.
4. A 'Start Here' blue booklet/guide is missing in the box and a setup CD. This made figuring out how to setup 2x harder and I had to look up the HP manuals online.
5. Wifi setup isn't smooth, even when I installed everything correctly and followed instructions. I had to open my TP link router management webpage and set up the WPS link through that - or else the wifi will keep disconnecting from the printer.
6. I set up the Google Assistant Voice activation. Just download the google assistant app and say 'speak to HP printer' and it will add a new printer. Color print is ok. 1200 dpi scan will be a bit slow, lower resolutions much faster. The same with printing.
7. The seller responded to my question about the warranty and engineer request by saying 'if product is under warranty please contact HP' after selling it to me less than 3 days ago! I may return it and buy directly from HP.
8. The printer itself is good, for initial setup check youtube or type hp 410 manuals on google and set up with that. Not too complex - fill the ink, insert the printerheads and run an alignment. Download the HP smart app.
Bottom line, buy directly from HP for peace of mind regarding warranty and ease of installation, or try another seller. I may return it as an exchange period of 7 days is available, but I don't want to end up with the same seller again.

But HP has the worst Knowledgebase.
The HP Smart App never helps with the troubleshooting. I have to set the printer up each time I have to print something again via USB thus waste lot of my time.

The product was delivered on time, safely.
The ink quality is also good and economical

It's high time HP should really work on making the better drivers & a useful knowl
