Don't Buy - No Customer Service

TV works fine and picture quality is adequate. Pl buy it if you are ready to use it till its working fine and then throw it once it gets some problems. My TV was working fine for the last 1.25 years and due to power fluctuations, it started giving issues with HDMI port. I called the customer SErvice Centre and was told that they will send a service engr within 48 hours. Now its more than 5 working days and after repeated calls to service center also, no one came to check the TV. I've escalated the issue to their VP for Service, but I'm not that hopeful there'll be any action from VP too.
Update - on 22nd nov, sent another escalation mail and received a call from cc guy. He told me that it would be smps issue and he’ll order the parts. Once it comes in 10 days, he’ll come and fix it. It’s now Dec 17 and no one has contacted me yet.
Consider all these issues, before deciding to buy any product from BPL.
