Really very good, but not great.

"Poetry on celluloid", what I call this movie. Shemaroo did a great job to restore the same. But, in my opinion, they should have released it in a "twin-disk pack", as a dual layer blu-ray disk is, ideally, optimized to carry a two hour movie (approx). Since Shemaroo cramped such a large data of 250 minutes long (04:09:34 to be precise) 1080p Full HD movie in a single 41.5 GB blu-ray disk, the video band-width is less than 20 Mbps, which is OK but not great. The only available sound-track is Dolby TrueHD with the lowest band-width I ever seen - varying between 550 Kbps to 1.5 Mbps - remains below 1.0 Mbps almost all the time. I have all the Bond movies released on blu-ray in the recent past and noticed that those Hollywood movies have been restored very well in comparison to this Shemaroo released "Mera Naam Joker". However, the quality of video and audio is very good, if not great.
However, I loved the movie and found several scenes which I didn't aware of, though watched this movie several times in the past in Cinema Hall and also on VHS, VCD and DVD etc and hope release of more such all time great full-length movies on blu-ray.
