A book for the "laity"...
19 January 2017
If you bother about the rights of common-men. If you think that people come before governments and empires, if you believe that peace with justice is better than war then I believe this book is for you. Despite all the encouragement for civilized and peaceful political activism this book is not about politics or some specific empire in general but its more about justice and rights which every human is born with.
Despite all my difference with the author on ideological level nonetheless I believe that the author has done a great job in highlighting the suffering of common-man at the hands of imperialism, neo-liberalism, capitalism, and corporate-globalization. I believe that we all can agree that the life of a common-man is valuable and this is what the book is all about the worth and value of the life of a common-man. If you were to take something at the very least from this book then it should be, the need and importance of justice and the dire need to value the life of a common-man.
