I'm so prejudiced towards Ruskin Bond that any book written by him gets not less than five stars from me!! This collection is beautiful, nostalgic and utterly delectable, just the right medicine to lift the reader's mood and make everything feel wonderful. Though some pieces have been repeated a few times, reading them again and again is never boring. Long live, Mr. Bond, and treat us with your tales!
Only Mr Ruskin Bond has the magic to take you to the magnificent mountains, to let you hear the river flow, to feel the birds, insects and wildlife without actually being there. Mr Bond you have given people like us a new dimension to see life. Thank you for being a writer.
First Ruskin Bond book I'm reading. The collection of stories are so good. Some are funny, some are nostalgic and some touches your heart. Amazon gave 83% discount for Bond's 83rd birthday. Great move Amazon.
