Every seeker on his spiritual journey encounters so much of literature with conflicting ideas, that creates its own set of problems. As the seeker goes along with the journey, he picks up wrong notions about spiritualty, truth, self, enlightenment, freedom. Hence this book comes as a breath of fresh air exposing the various myths that a seeker carries. It actually demolishes the myths and the seeker is left with a sudden realisation of the wrong ideas he/she has been carrying which actually is hindering the realisation.
I found this book a great help in clearing my doubts. I have been reading spiritual books for the last 15 years and this book really helped me clear the issues that i was unnecessarily carrying based on the ideas that i had formed in the last 15 years.
The biggest problem for the spiritual seeker is that he is seeking something of the unknown and hence there is no first hand experience to validate whether he is on the right path. Acharya Prashant explains it so clearly and makes us bring as close to the reality as possible in the form of words. Words are so limited to explain, as this is something beyond the mind. Hence mind cannot understand. But Acharya ji is so articulate to pierce through the minds facade and makes us see the reality.
While anyone can read this book, i specially recommend this for serious seekers who have been through this journey for a while. As they will have the maximum benefit when Acharya ji's piercing words break the myths one by one through every chapter.
At first, the book was hard to handle for me because it demolishes the entire belief system on which one's being is based. But even after that demolition, one cannot put the book down. It engages the reader very well.
Almost every paragraph of this book shatters some or the other non sense that we believe in. After this book, one feels like one is relieved of a great burden. Another powerful and beautiful book by Acharya Prashant. A must read!
"Bahut kuch tootega" were the words of the volunteer of this organisation when i was buying this book and he was true, although i haven't finished this book, but bahut kuch tootna shuru hogaya hai. Thanx Acharya ji and thanx Rohit sir and udit bhaiya. 😊
