Comments on Nehru;s 97 Major Blunders
29 October 2018
The author only simply lists some of the major blunders committed by Mr. Nehru towards the culmination of Freedom Struggle & also during the initial years of our independence. He misses out on the Indo - Nepal Pact, Indo - Bhutan Pact etc. Mr. Nehru, before independence refused to accommodate Muslim League in the interim Govt formation but he did joined hand with Muslim League in Kerala to form ministry after independence. A real shameless act of opportunism. Syllet was a Hindu majority district of Assam, at the time of partition he allowed major part of it to go to East Pakistan resulting in massive plight of Bengalee Hindus. Mr. Nehru's strong dislike for Subhash Chandra Bose had influenced his attitude towards mis-management of refugee problem from East Pakistan. I very sincerely think that there were NO other leader in India who has caused so much damage to the cause of India than Mr. Nehru. Mr. Rajinikant Puranik would have done better to include little more data, references, while describing the blunders caused by Mr. Nehru. Probably his effort would increased the volume of the book by few more pages. I request him to update his next editions.
