Defective product and poor service

The product came defective . The power button is not working . It was a gift to someone who stays in a small town and the franchise Philips customer care refused to attend to the query and asked to contact the zonal Philips office . I've mail confirmations for same . It's been two months now and the product is lying unused . Now the child will grow in some months and the bottle steamer will become irrelevant. So guys dnt fall into the trap while buying electronics online .
