The bad has served me well on outdoor trips, It is water resistant, compact and has the right volume for me. The straps are comfortable even with a load of 15 kg. With the right length of straps, the big fits snugly on my back and I have trekked more than 15 kms with this pack on my back. I have reduced two stars because the top cover does not close snugly unless the bad is filled right to the brim. This is ungainly and is a major lapse in design of the bag. My other rucksacks do not have this problem.
Compact backpack good for a daytrip or for kids. Well built and can accommodate a hydration pack or a 10 inch tablet in its sleeve. Looks smart and tough. Volume is 5 L or a little bit more. Can take an iPad, a small bottle of water, couple of phones, a small umbrella and a selfie stick. Can also take a sweater tied to the external straps and one can use carabiners to hang stuff on the shoulder strap hooks, But bigger volume backpacks can be bought at half the price - though not of same craftmanship.
