100% unsatisfactory in terms of delivery management and no use of 'Prime' subscription @ 999

I think I am fooled by Amazon. It’s much better if one will not take the Prime subscription and pay Rs. 999. Because what I understand from this incidence that if Amazon failed to deliver in a day then they simply place your order having tag "Unfortunately your package was damaged". The incidence is that I have ordered twice with the same address on successive day. The first consignment on the day of delivery, while tracking it looks fine and instantly it is showing “Unfortunately your package was damaged ". Then I booked again after this for the same product and the same incidence happen on the day of delivery. When I place a call with Amazon customer the reason she provided was really awkward and I know there is definitely something fishy. The representative keeps on saying that they are not catering Pin code area 380015 then the simplest thing why they book the order with this delivery PIN as I know area code where they are unable to deliver and you try to book an order then it clearly state that they do not cater to this area on the Amazon portal. Secondly, the area 380015 is in Ahmedabad and my office located in that area which is just be 50 meters from ISCON temple on SG Highway in Ahmedabad which is a prime location and the customer care executive said that this is remotely located. Again wonder. Third reason executive sought was that there is no schedule for delivery on that area. This was again shocking then what's the use of taking Prime then. Also, I asked her what's the schedule for delivering in that area code, for which she is totally unaware. Fourth, she starts praising Amazon that they have delivered the product in a day from Haryana to Gujarat then I just agree to collect it from the warehouse in Ahmedabad, then she told that this is not possible because it is not delivered through 3rd party. Oh God, if it is delivered through your in-house channel then this is more secured and good enough for customer. Fifth, I agree to take it on some other future date if there is no schedule to deliver it today then she just denied and said that this is also not feasible. Overall, instead of providing solution to customer and finding alternate way, I found that they are more interested in praising Amazon even on repetitive failure to deliver the product and I think they are not oriented to work for customer satisfaction. In my views, One can not rely on items which you need on urgent basis rather one should purchase it from standard shops like Vijay sales or Croma. Also, there is no use of taking Prime subscription @Rs. 999 as this shall add to more complication and actually of no use. Just a mechanism of extracting money from Customers.
