Compact, Sturdy, and the best part: practically infinite angles for the camera
12 December 2018
I will recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable, portable tripod with a ball head, unless you don't mind spending the extra money on a Joby Gorillapod. Below are the pros and cons according the me:
a) Screw plate allows me to hold the camera steady and screw on the tripod.
b) Ball head along with the screw plate allows for a practically infinite angle options for the camera.
c) I've only tried a couple of angles with my mirrorless camera and small prime lens, but it feels sturdy enough.
d) There are multiple levels of height, however, the tripod is still pretty short at full height.
e) The three legs pulled together can be held comfortably enough in hand.
f) Extremely portable.
g) Next best thing to a Gorillapod for a GoPro.
a) Will not recommend it for a DSLR, or even a mirrorless with a zoom lens.
b) Plastic feels cheap to the skin.
c) The screw mechanism for the ball head does not inspire confidence
d) Cannot stand as a monopod when the legs are pulled together.
e) As mentioned earlier, the height even at full length is quite low.
f) Smaller hands might find it uncomfortable to hold with all the legs pulled together.
