works like a charm

The product works like a charm. No issues whatsoever, the video signal comes out crisp at the other end just like it supposed to. I read the reviews and saw that that many people were giving this product bad ratings just because of their own lack of knowledge. One of the things I noticed was people complaining about sound issues. The main thing to note is that VGA is a display only standard and does not support audio. It is to be used to transmit signals from a device (laptop,desktop,graphics card) to a display (VGA monitor or projector), it simply won't work if installed to transmit data in the reverse direction.
It works like a charm on my lenovo laptop and I primarily use it to connect my laptop to my monitor @ home and the projector @ college.
The product is build well for how much it costs. It's build quality is on par with similar modules from dell and acer which cost thrice as much.

I bought this item as it was a recommended converter for Zotac GT 1030 2gb for my VGA monitor, but it didn't work. So, I sent it back for replacement. Zotac Nvidia GT 1030 2GB GDDR5 64-Bit DVI-D HDMI Retail Graphic card / Pascal / Firestorm / Low profile / Extended Warranty/ 384 Cuda core /DirectX 12 / GPU Clock: 1240 MHz/ Memory Clock:1752 MHz , 7000 MHz effective

I needed a HDMI to VGA converter for my Raspberry Pi 3B+ and this unit from Terabyte certainly fits the bill. Pretty much exactly the same units are available from other brands also but I purchased the Terabyte brand because from past experience, Terabyte applies higher quality control and its products work well.
This converter is easily able to convert the 1920x1080 output of the Raspberry Pi board into analog VGA signal and feed it into the Dell 21" LCD that I use. There was no flickering, blurring or colour shift noticed when using this adapter versus directly connecting the monitor to the Raspberry Pi board.
This adapter does not support audio-out but that is not a requirement for me so I am quite happy. In any case, if I want audio, I am more likely to plug in a USB Audio Adapter into the Raspberry Pi and set it as the default audio device. This way, I will get significantly higher quality of analog audio.

This is a very good product for connecting graphics card with your vga monitor, just go for it. I am using it to connect zotac gtx 1050 ti oc. no issues with framerates.
Delivery experience was bad, got this after 1 week.

Works as expected. I bought it for connecting my Xbox (which has HDMI) to my monitor which has VGA. It works as expected. Thought there is some loss in clarity, since I was previously using HDMI to connect to TV itslef, I can't blame the adapter for that since conversion from HDMI to VGA will be lossy and VGA is not designed to support High Definitions that HDMI can carry. So, no complaints!

Very good build quality and performance. It works well with my HP laptop. The HDMI jack fits with a satisfying click into the laptop, so the fit is perfect.
Since this is an adapter only, you will need to connect this to your monitor's VGA cable (duh!). I've been using this for slightly more than a month now, and everything is perfectly fine with this product.
**NOTE**
Initially, I bought a VGA cable (to connect from terabyte adapter to my monitor) at a local store and connected the Terabyte HDMI to VGA adapter to the VGA cable. To my dismay, the display quality wasn't great (there was a minute amount of ghosting and resultant slightly blurred image). However, after exchanging the VGA cable with a higher quality one, this problem was fully resolved and I had a crisp and sharp display quality, so there was no issue with this adapter itself.
So please, if you too face such an issue, don't immediately blame the Terabyte HDMI to VGA converter itself, first ensure that the VGA cable is of good quality! Just sharing this point so that others might be helped in case they too face such an issue.
UPDATE: This adapter was working really smoothly and really well for the past 6 months. However, last week I started getting a problem where my external monitor started a slow blink (10 seconds display, then blank for 10 seconds, then again proper display)... After a day or two, this increased and now I am not getting any display at all. I tested the monitor with my old PC and it works just fine with the VGA cable. It is only when I use my HDMI adapter that I'm facing this issue. So, quality of this piece is not as great as I'd initially thought. This might be a small issue somewhere inside the circuitry but end result is that it doesn't work for me after 6 months of regular usage. Hence it might make sense to go for a higher quaity adapter if it lasts longer. Again, this might just be a problem with my particular adapter, not necessarily all the pieces. But I'll now have to buy one more adapter! :(

I was very much confused if it would be working or not. I had meeting where projector works only with VGA. So I had no choice to buy such option. After little research I choose this one and I am very much satisfied with product price, description and performance. Its working fine with projector and TV as VGA input while my laptop has HDMI port only.

Don't waste your time on this product.
1. It doesn't work!
2. I ordered two units, neither one works!
3. They will take 15days to deliver.
4. No refund. Only replacement, which I doubt how will it be, Don't forget. Replacement takes 15days too!
Try if you have ample time, and need the product for time pass.
