After seeing my child's interest in reading the predecessor of this book (The Enchanted Wood), I ordered this sequel and found him reading and finishing it with same enthusiasm. A perfect book for self reading. This 75th Anniversary edition from Egmont is awesome with large size, hard cover and beautiful illustrations with large font size.

A must read for the younger Enid Blyton fans. My 6 year old daughter literally devours these books! The book arrived in excellent time,in pristine condition. This is the second book in the "The Enchanted Wood " series and contains the familiar characters like Jo,Bessie and Fanny (the three children) and of course Moonface,Saucepan man,Dame Wash a lot etc along with the children's cousin Rick , who joins them in their new adventures into the strange lands at the top of the Faraway tree.It is an excellent book for imaginative children who are becoming proficient in reading English. If your child is more into action and graphics, this may not be the best book!
My son loves Enid Blyton's way of storytelling very much. Her language is very simple yet very attractive. The facts in her stories are exciting yet not very extraordinary. So I decided to read to him all the 5 books of "The Enchanted Wood" series.
