I booked this this product from IFB on dhan teras for my family and was out for Diwali,there was no issue in delivery and i was advised to wait for until demo happens by IFB technician then open the box.After waiting for a week the demo didn't happen.I had to raise a request for demo personally by going to the customer support of IFB.
Demo agent came and showed us the manual buttons and during this time product was opened from the box first time almost 10 days after purchase.Installation took another 7-8 days from our end as we didn't had a electric point and space to fit this large microwave .
To my surprise when i put the first “bowl of dal “and kept it for 2 mins it didn't heat,i somehow thought i pressed something wrong and again did this exercise.After spending half and hour with the microwave functions..i came to a conclusion that this is a faulty product and at the demo we didn't actually check if microwave is heating food or not.
With a sad experience i reached to IFB with the issue as i thought i'm doing something wrong and somehow the demo didn't happen correctly as the product looked perfect. IFB technician again visited and on job sheet declared this product as faulty and asked me to wait as they will change it.
I got a call from the warehouse person (subhas) promising that they will change the piece as its a new product and issue is at there end.
This week monday 11 dec 2017 a new microwave was sent with opened box,it appreared like it was repaired product not new so we didn't accept it.
I WANT TO SAY ..DO WE LOOK STUPID TO ACCEPT A FAULTY PRODUCT OR USED IF I HAVE PAID IN FULL????
I'm going to raise a request with consumer court and totally recommend double check the functions in demo,Also after delivery ask for demo instantly,moreover in today's time of Quality checks how can a product whose basic function is to heat and is not doing it is passed?
How can you dare to send such thing at my house?Why did i choose IFB as a brand and was relaxed ?If you guyz can't promise a safe product then please remove yourself from eCommerce websites.
I'm still stuck with the microwave and waiting for authorities and amazon to help me out with a new one
