This is a very easy read and a good way to understand what influenced Phil Jackson. In some parts I missed the details of what exactly he did and learnt. For example, his learnings from American Indian culture, Zen Buddhism, etc. While there is some mention of it, some more detail of what the culture provides, his experiences and feelings would have made me understand Phil Jackson better.
Being a Laker for life, I could co relate to everything he said in this book. So yes, my opinion would be biased. But for anyone who has understood and loved this game, not for the flashy dunks but for the beauty of it, would just love this book. More importantly, this book is not just about basketball. It's about the fact that how a group of players when breathe together and dream together can turn them not into a great team but a legacy.
