Repeatedly I had to remind myself this was not a fiction thriller. I swear, the cast of characters comes right out of a freshman year creative writing class.
Let’s see, the good guys include way more psychologists than you can count, FBI agents, a whole host of sheriff’s detectives and goodhearted ones as well.
The bad guys are well represented too. There’s a real Italian made mafia man that steals the show, and there’s the Cambodian mob, and some wealthy Mexicans who also shine bright in the lime light.
The story and its characters are nicely wrapped up with such agencies as Interpol and the American Civil Liberties Union. Toss in a little Hollywood and Ron Howard and you’ve got yourself one crazy salad. Too crazy to work as fiction.
