5 stars for Harlan Coben. His stories are mindblowing and the way he narrates them is fabulous. But i am disappointed by getting a defected product from Amazon. There is a serious typing error here. It is not Gerard but Chuback who asked that to Kat. Infact Gerard is a hostage right now. Amazon should not accept such products and pass it to us.
An excellent depiction of police work of high quality. The plot is captivating and never looses focus. It is complex and explains the hurt new technology (Internet) can cause if caution is not exercised.
Can you ever trust anyone you meet on the internet? According Harlan Coben, apparently not.
Cue murder, conspiracy, intrigue, and betrayal. Pretty gripping? Yeah, as far as it went.
I have a small gripes - the theme of identity is dangerously close to the earlier book, A Gathering of Twine (The Spirals of Danu). Sure, it's a different genre, but even some of the dialogue is eerily reminiscent.
Can we trust everyone we meet, even those we have known for 20+ years? Have fun finding out.
