I bought it for regular use as my laptop on computer table makes it difficult to use the laptop keyboard.
The keyboard is ok, not very heavy. But not something you would mind much. However, my biggest gripe is that it is not the standard keyboard that you may be used to in the office. Enter key is little fancy and seems upside down, Delete, End, Page up/down are arranged in 3 rows and 2 columns instead of traditional 3 columns and 2 rows to more tightly pack the keyboard and presumably save a penny. I tend to mishit those keys and become annoyed.
Having said all above it is not particularly bad buy for little 1000 bucks, those I wish they'd have given standard keyboard layout and not tried to skimp too much. It does come with batteries so that's good.
