paper quality is equivalent to what is available from roadside.
I feel that the book is from grey market and they are saying that it is selling at great discounts.

This is one book that one has to reckon with!! Gifted myself with the first copy from Amazon on the eve of new year, which eventually gets stolen at Puri, Jagannath Temple visit after few days. The same night after returning home to Bhubaneswar, I order another one as I was heart-broke(felt as if a newly acquired treasure trove had been snatched away)!

Now let's come to the point. After having read Bhagvad Gita (ISKCON and Eknath Easwaran), Upanishads(Eknath Easwaran), decided to study the Vedas and that's how Stephen Knap's masterpiece "Secret Teachings of the Vedas"came into my life.
And I promise anyone who reads this would never be the same again. Being a thorough skeptic, I dissect and thoroughly examine such material with a keen eye on superstition or dogmatism which this book passed with flying colors. Not just that, I am awed at the Author's brilliance in simplifying and piecing together complicated Indian wisdom and presenting in a lucid manner comprehensible to average human mind.

This book is a perfect blend of spirituality from a scientific lens. Right from the cycle of Karma, reincarnation, lifestyle, evolution, human body, God and many other soulful topics are covered here. It must have taken years of research and meditation to come up with such a masterpiece by the Author and it has beautifully succeeded in lifting veil of our tiny comprehension about life and the world around in general. So prepare to be awed at the significance of this literature!

Use of word "vedas" is misnomer for the book. The appropriate title should be "Teachings form Bhagwat Geeta"

Except for one chapter, which deals with estimation of age of Vedas, you cant find anything more. Book is really good- but if you are looking for teachings from "Bhagwat Geeta"

Looking for Vedas? please try something else

Clearly described everything + stating references from different vedas is awesome. A must read for everyone. Good job, keep it up

The book definitely provides a deep spiritual insight. But I expected more emphasis and analysis of the four vedas as the book title suggests. But the writer mostly provided quotes from the Bhagavat Gita.
