The author has apparently taken lot of pains to collect the information and present it in a readable and convincing manner. I Think it should be translated and published in all major Indian languages to achieve the true spirit and purpose it is intended for.

Excellent book. References are provided for many of the claims made in this book. However, there are few claims like Taj Mahal being a Shiva temple where the source of the information is not mentioned. The ones available on the net also did not seem very credible to me. However, I could get most of the other facts corroborated with some cross referencing. So it would be good if we do not junk the entire book because of a very few unverifiable or incorrect information here and there (may be less than 5%). All in all a wonderful book for Indians who want to really understand the history that is not taught in Indian classrooms till date. And it would be good if the s called secularists read this book and understand why it would be most inappropriate to accuse the majority in India of intolerance. Indian intellectuals and secularists have this mentality of picking out rare instances of good work done by Islamic invaders and equating it with rare instances of atrocity committed by native Indians. In the words of Tarek Fatah - asking a raped woman to be greatful to the rapist because he sent her breakfast after raping her all night

A must read book. A nation is only strong with its strong ethnic and cultural roots. That's why India is still thriving and rich cultural phenomenon !
