Well it is a readable book, not any introduction to vipasana or prostitis! Yes it describes the personal account of a journey from pain to not exactly pleasure but let us say road to something less painful. Some of the digressions of the writer make the book less gripping. Yeah I loved and agreed with his assessment of Indian winner of Booker prize Ms. Arundhati Roy. What is the connection...may be the author felt his head ache in abdomen was similar to what a reader experiences reading a book of Ms. Roy!
Wonderful book by a master story teller narrates the journey and rediscovery of the depths of the human mind by a tryst with a physical illness. If all we feel in our bodies is by our mind isnt it time we learnt a little more about the mind? Great book
