One Shop Stop for the Civil Service Aspirants
Reviewed in India on 20 September 2020
Well I must say this book is a 'One Shop Stop' for any aspirant who is thinking of appearing, preparing and cracking the Civil Services. In terms of the content, I can hardly complain anything.
But coming to the publisher, I would like Mc Graw Hill to improve the quality of the pages. Compared to some of their other products and being such a well known publisher, the quality of the pages in this book is seriously very inferior (more of like those in Assamese Newspapers). I had attached few photographs where you can visibly see the differences in the pages. Out of the 950 pages, the quality/grade of the pages is not consistent throughout, i found only few pages in the middle (you can see those pages in the last picture that is clicked horizontally, that thick white line in the middle portion) where the quality of the page used is similar to the standard grade of paper. Anyone who spends such a considerable amount of money (700 bucks) in this book atleast deserves good quality of the pages. So my question - Is that deliberately done by the publisher in regards to using inconsistent grades of paper in the book or there must be some sorts of duplication of this book, which the original publisher isn't aware of ?? Kindly, let me know about the real picture of it.
Reiterating again, I have no issues with the content but I am not satisfied with the publishing and overall presentation. Looking forward to hearing from you !
