5.0 out of 5 starsPerfectly Cooked Chemistry
24 April 2018
It's difficult to predict about some title with their names and this is one such title that proved it's worth.
No one is perfect in itself, all you need to find that someone who could become perfect just for you..
When you talk about a boy and a girl chemistry in the entire story, it's very rare that they don't fall in love but the way Aakash and Tiasha mould up their chemistry is worth watching.
The way both of them complemented each other in every path of life is commendable.
Generally, it say when any third person comes in between the two, it affects the relationship but in this case Tiasha single handadly manage not only her personal life but profesional life too..😍😍

3.0 out of 5 starsIt is a story of two best friends Aakash and Tiasha
15 March 2018
Imperfect misfits is a kind of average time pass story. It is a story of two best friends Aakash and Tiasha. I somewhat liked and disliked the character of Tiasha at the same time. She is one hell of a confused bubbly girl who is really really different and difficult to handle. To be honest I don't know any such girl that's why I disliked her at some points. On the other hand, Aakash is an epitome of a true friend who supports his friend no matter what.

Aakash dreams of becoming a stand-up comedian and Tiasha a well - known chef. Both of them pursues their dreams but there comes a point in their life when they fall for each other and that messes up situations for both, but for Tiasha more. She is kind of a girl who doesn't want to be Aakash's girlfriend but at the same time doesn't want anyone else to take that place. So the story continues and to find what lays ahead you must read the book.

Author has used very simple language in the book. She has also used Hindi words and sentences in the book which I think non - Hindi readers won't like or even understand. So it's a minus point. The cover page seems animated to me and I didn't like it much. I read the book in one go at the weekend and it was a nice time pass.

Imperfect misfits is a bubbly tale of friendship with a crispy punch of love .

The story revolves around Tiasha and Aakash who are best of friends but poles apart . Aakash , on one hand , is very clear about his dream of becoming a stand up comedian while Tiasha is still struggling to figure our her real self . Where Aakash is matured and calm , Tiasha is child like and confused. But as said , opposites attract , Is there something more to this friendship of best friends ?
Will Love take over this friendship or will the promises of friendship remain forever ?
Are they imperfect misfits for each other ?

Grab this beautiful story to find out more.

The title , though Imperfect misfit , is completely perfect and intriguing . The cover is very bubbly and catchy and is a treat to eyes . Although I found the blurb very average . It could have been much better.

The plot of the story is good and the storyline is nice . I liked the characters of the novels and it was the characterisation that kept me hooked till the end . One can easily connect with all the characters . The narration is lucid and the language is simple . I loved the way food and delicious dishes are incorporated in the story . Also the interesting titles to each new chapter made it unputdownable .

The author's point of view in b/w the story was disturbing at times . It hampered the flow of reading . Also I kind of found the maturity lacking in the story . It was more kind of a teenage cute bubbly love story .

Overall a good one time read and a treat for teenage love story readers .

3.0 out of 5 starsGood, one-time read

Imperfect Misfits is a story of two best friends who are already in love with each other yet aren't really ready to admit it. The story is about Tiasha and Aakash. Tiasha wishes to become a chef while Aakash wants to become a stand-up comedian. Do they follow their passion or does a need to have a stable job and make money come their way? Do they acknowledge their love for each other?

Starting with the cover, I just loved it. It's cute and relatable. The novel is about teenage love and I believe the cover throws some light on what the story would be.

Best friends turning their friendship into a romantic relationship is a very common plot. The story can be basically sum up in six-eight sentences. What's different is the situations and incidents. I won't say that I loved reading this book. But, enjoyed it. The story seemed very interesting at first. However, it turned a little dull towards the end. I felt that the end was kind of rushed into. I liked the way the author has presented the story i.e. in third person's perspective. She mentions some anecdotes about her own life which I found a bit distracting. It seemed as if I was drifted to some other place and then, all of a sudden brought into Tiasha and Aakash's lives.

The author has crafted the characters - Tiasha and Aakash in a very nice manner. They are adorable. I really loved their determination and hard work towards achieving their dreams. They are inspiring.

My likes-
- Tiasha and Aakash's friendship.
- Their determination and courage to take the path less traveled.

My dislikes
- The picture-perfect setting (I wonder how things can go so well. I remember author mentioning that certain things not only happen in books and movies but happen in real lives as well.)
- The abrupt end.

I rate:
Cover: 4/5
Characters: 3/5
Story: 3/5

My overall rating for 'Imperfect Misfits' is 3/5 stars.

4.0 out of 5 starsTiasha is a confident girl who never likes to quit but needs support of her parents and her best friend Aakash

Imperfect Misfits is a cute story of Aakash's and Tiasha's friendship and their dreams. The story is so much related to us.Sometimes we get confuse between relationship, friendship and our dream.I think this book will give u a clear idea about that. While reading u will definitely find yourself atleast once in the journey.

Tiasha is a confident girl who never likes to quit but needs support of her parents and her best friend Aakash. With their support she can overcome any hurdle comes her way else she will be confused.(I found myself in Tiasha, because with support of my loved ones I can do anything but without their support I can't overcome a single thing).Aakash is a boy who is always clear about his decisions, whether its a friendship, relationship or a career(well, that's rare).Tiasha wants to be a Chef and Aakash wants to be a comedian. Both chooses their path to fulfill their dreams but in the returns to eachother, their Impetfect Misfits. How they maintained their friendship? How they choose to walk on the toughest path?Well,to know that..you have to read the book yaar.(Sab main hi bata dungi to aap kya padhoge?Jao..jaa k book order karo;))

Sometimes there is nothing much to say about the book but you can feel the book, enjoy the journey. And I really enjoyed this cute journey.

The blurb seemed very average sort of book, yet I picked up to read and ended completing the book cause unlike the other characters were different.
But love bloomed, the story revolves around two best friends taisha and aakash. As its known opposite poles attract each other, that's how it happened. The childhood friends, on one hand aakash who knows his priorities, dreams and wants to become stand up comedian, on the other hand taisha who is very different to deal with, who is still not aware of her calling, yet wants to be chef.

In the journey, they end falling for each other, will they accept the love or turn back?
How will they deal with thier own feelings.
To know more, grab this book.

The title is perfect for the story, the cover is okay ish, the language is very simple and easy to understand, the Hindi language is also used in the book.

3.0 out of 5 starsSugar coated love story
3 May 2018
Format: PaperbackVerified Purchase
The book is like a fairytale where everything is happening so smoothly and seems unreal to me. Looks like everything in the book is written in a positive perspective. It is nice to read such books where you get taste of typical-Indian-romance-saturated-with-sugar. I though couldn't relate it with real life. The book is a complete spoiler. It makes you start living in the world of Tiasha and Akash which is so heaven-like. Love is there. Emotions are There. Friendship is there. It is a one time read. I was expecting better than this from the author. I just couldn't go hand in hand with the story as it is made extremely positive and life seems far away from it. I literally had to drag it. I believe in love stories but this one is a cliche. This is a friendship story forced to be converted into a love story. I know the author is so pure by heart. She is a sweet heart. I had to be honest though. I loved her comments in between the content the most. I at instances felt the need to read her personal comments to go on throughout. Whenever it got switched to real story it became monotonous for me. I was so happy when i got this book but it didn't end the way i wanted it to end.

4.0 out of 5 starsinteresting tale of love
31 March 2018
Format: PaperbackVerified Purchase
Imperfect misfits is more of a complicated yet interesting tale of love and friendship. Author has done a great job on Tiasha, she is really adorable.
The story here is no simple, cuchie-koo tale of love. The complication and confusion starts from the page one and continues till the very last page of the book. Aakash, the aspiring standup comedian and Tiasha, our very own aspiring chef are the pole apart individual happens to be the best friends here. While Aakash was simple and sorted, Tiasha was most confused and complicated one. With course of time Aakash comes up with the realization that he could no more be friend with Tiasha because what he felt for her was more than friendship. It was love. But speaking of Tiasha none was certain not even she herself was. Now what happens next can be known by predicating or by getting a copy of this beautiful book.
The thing I really admire about this book is its stern grip on theme of friendship being love of life. It was sorted and simply just like Aakash.
