A literary landmark among bad books!
15 November 2015
I had expected this book to delve deep into the myth and aura of places believed to be haunted, but it turned out to be more about the author's "experiences" of being there; the book was replete with clichéd references to feelings of being watched, feeling the presence of other-worldly beings, etc etc. The book is a terrible cocktail of hackneyed fiction and bad English, and has a foreword written by the author's mother who claims (much conceitedly) to have "none that could stand up and be equal to" her in the knowledge of the other world. It's a terrible book from the foreword to the back cover. If you still want to buy a copy, please let me know - I will happily give you my copy because I absolutely don't want to be seen in its company ever again!
