The emotional pain of a breakup, the grief, and engulfing shedding of dismay, the trauma of a lost lover, the fear of a little girl, the voice on social stigma whatnot author alleviates her opinion on myriad topics. It's an amalgam of ballads encrypted with emotions ranging from physical distortion to desperation, loneliness of betrothed.
Is it so because I read it in the dusk? or I was exhausted due to a hectic day? I only noticed the gloomy part of the book engulfed with full of emotional turmoil though there are hope and enthusiasm in a few of the verses.
Does our mood influence what we read? or the one which we read influences our current mood?
For the second part definitely, the author should have the artistic expression to deliver and make one decipher in their world by reading.
I guess the author has this ability to drive anyone and make thought-provoking. Yet it disappointed me with citing painful, emotional distress. Not to mention in a negative aspect but break up sting, emotional turmoil, dark shade themes definitely make one feel low. Rest of that it is spellbound.
I liked The Land of the Thundering Dragon – Bhutan and The Triple Cry stanzas among the most which showcased her efficient writing skills.
Only due to that gloomy part (it seems to be gloomy just because she succeeded in Presenting the exact feel of those characters in her passages anyways) I give this an overall rating of 3.4/5.
