The Snows of Kilimanjaro and other stories.
Year of publication: 1961
This book is a compilation of short stories by Ernest Hemingway. Most of the stories have a blunt ending and you can very easily see his love for hunting, fishing and about life after wars in these stories.
Starting with story of a writer ( Harry) who is waiting for his death to this young girl Liz who reluctantly discovers the romance, a young couple who explored and ended their relationship to a young American who wanted a cat to accompany her.
These short stories will make you think hard about the underneath emotions of each character. There is alot of intensity and the language which author uses is very powerful and strong. Hemingway's art of describing physical and emotional pain is praiseworthy.
There were few stories I didn't liked much but overall book is a good read.
