First of all, the book is undoubtedly a pirated one. The paper quality looks very cheap and lots of characters on various papers are missing. Forget about the content in the book. It is very tough to imagine the missing characters in the commands, keywords, and more over frustrating. I strongly suggest not to buy this book from this seller, try to find the book at local store and check the quality of the paper and if any typos. I will check the book at local store and will give the update.

Lots of unnecessary and obsolete material and topics are present in this book. Also the page quality and binding of this book are done like the publishers were on fire at them time.

This is a good UNIX book for beginners. Go for it.

One of the best book on UNIX. This doesn't have too many examples but still very conceptual.
