An interesting book; it reveals the history of the migration of Hindus to a distant and not so well known land , Armenia, way back in 149 BC and the existence of Hindu settlements and peaceful coexistence there for more than 400years. It also introduces us to the glorious past of Armenians in India during the Mughal and British period . And finally the author dwells upon the contemporary relations between India and Armenia. And all of this in compact 100 pages. Worth reading.
The book has aroused my curiosity about Armenia ; I am now keen to discover the So Far Yet So Close land whose people contributed in their ow small way to rich and diverse cultural heritage of India. I am proud of the fact that the symbols of Armenians glorious past remain intact even after they left my country several decades ago .
