The book seems to be one which is written by a person who has a lot of first hand information. The reasons why certain things happened the way it happened have been well explained in this book.
It clearly tells how a very intelligent person can become useless with selfish motives from the political leaders.
Huge respect for Dr Manmohan Singh.
Sing is King!!

Gives a very good unbiased perspective on things inside PMO and others running the government. It's not about criticizing or praising anyone. It's a recollection of events as they occurred adding author's perspective to that.

1. Excellent content
2. Great insight of Indian politics
3. Focus on Manmohan Singh-How trapped he was and how he dealt with it and how he failed was really quality content and well written documents.

This book has changed my perception about former PM being an inefficient politician to a capable and selfless administrator constrained by inefficient leadership of his own political party..

Very ordinary narrative
Nothing unknown or sensational though this is from insider. In the end I guess regardless this book may have caused more damage to MMS

Focuses more on the inner working of the PMO and the power struggles within the bureaucracy than the politics of the time. A worthwhile read.
