If you want to how and why politicians win elections and how the mass mind works this is the book for you .This small compact book was way ahead of its time and is very much relevant to todays world
Anybody who wants to enter politics or field of public influence should read this book
Even for a layman its a good informative read as the methods of both political statesman and demagogue are revealed here

This is one of those early written treasures where the unblemished integrity of the author and his understanding shines through. It is surprising that the book was written centuries ago but it is as relevant as it was before as Gustave accurately understands the psychology of the crowd.

Moreover, as there might have been lesser distractions compared with today's world , the work looks cohesive and to the point, without unnecessary aberrations.

As you read it, the book gradually uncovers every aspect of how and why people behave in (a particular manner) crowds and answers nearly every question which keeps popping up in mind as you go forward...which is really interesting as if the author understands you.

Do read this book and take advantage from it by not falling into the trap of crowd behaviour, or making better decision out of it.
