Mastery= Goalless Ambitions
5 March 2017
I had very high expectations from this book. And it almost reached them. Almost. Something was missing, though I cannot tell what. The book has some very good insights into the process of mastery, looking through the eyes of an Aikido masters and that definitely is applicable to life, but somehow I expected this book to be more transformative. Possibly, because I've been reading a lot in this genre that it fell short by my expectations.
Basically the book is about living a life without being boggled down by goals and accomplishments. Your life is not a series of milestones. It is the path itself. Something we aren't taught in schools. So worth reading.
Definitely recommendable. But it is also very short.
The pages are okay. So is the binding.
