A very detailed book on the case against Indira Gandhi
17 April 2018
The book provides a detailed account of the election petition against Indira Gandhi in Allahabad HC and the arguments advanced by both the sides. More importantly it also gives a detailed account of the appeal in the Supreme Court, the arguments and proceedings of which were not covered in the press at the time due to censorship. It also gives a brief account of the events which transpired on the political scene as a result of the decisions in the case. A very helpful book for lawyers and legal scholars and enthusiasts. However, laypersons will find it a bit more technical.
