Exchange Offer – FAQs
1. What is the requirement around the condition of the used product?
If the used product is a Mobile please ensure that it is in working condition with its display intact, and that it is not damaged, broken, or otherwise tampered with. Normal wear and tear is acceptable. If the used product is a Tablet, Laptop, TV, Washing Machine, AC, or Refrigerator, the Exchange Offer value that is provided by our buyback partners depends on the condition of the used product. Ensure that you share correct details of the used product, so that the delivery associate can validate the same successfully before delivering the new product.
2. Do I need all the original accessories and packaging for the used product?
It is preferred that you return the used product with its original accessories and packaging. However, it is not mandatory. You may complete the exchange process without the original accessories and packaging.
3. How should I send the used product to Amazon?
The used product will be picked up from you by the delivery associate at the time of delivery of your new product, provided the condition of the used product matches what was entered at the time of placing the order.
4. Can I exchange more than one used products to buy one new one?
No, you can exchange only one used product per new product order.
5. Can I exchange a used product of one category to buy a new product of another category?
Currently only an old mobile can be exchanged for a new TV/Refrigerator/Tablet/Washing Machine/Laptop. However, you will continue being able to exchange the same product for a new one (eg - an old fridge for a new one)
6. Can I exchange a different used product other than the one described at the time of ordering?
No, once the order is submitted, you must exchange the used product that was described at the time of ordering. The Exchange Offer value that is applied on the used order is applied based on the used product details that were entered. If the details entered do not match the used product that is submitted for exchange at the time of delivery, the delivery of the new product will be suspended and the order will be cancelled.
7. How can I get my used product back?
Once a used product has been picked up from you, we will not be able to return it as it would have already been collected and processed by our third-party buyback partners. In case you have returned your order for a refund, subject to Amazon's return policies, an Amazon Gift card issued by QwikCilver Solutions Private Limited, equivalent to the Exchange Offer value will be credited to your Amazon.in account. 8. Is there a list of used products that can be exchanged?
The list of used products accepted under the Exchange Offer program is dependent on our buyback partners and hence is dynamic. Please see the "With Exchange" section of the selected product's detail page to see the latest list of used products eligible for exchange.
9. What if I have personal data on my phone/tablet/laptop?
You must ensure to delete all the data on your device before handing it over to be exchanged. Amazon or its affiliates, the seller, the buyback partner, the future buyer or the manufacturer will not be responsible for any data that may be retained on the phone, and you cannot approach any of the above parties for any retrieval or deletion of the data on your used device.
10. How do I find my IMEI number to exchange my mobile phone?
Dial *#06# on the phone that you want to exchange to identify its IMEI number. The IMEI number can also be found inside the battery compartment, in phone settings, or listed on the original packaging.
11. I see two IMEI numbers on my phone, do I need to provide both for exchange?
No, you need to enter only one of them into the IMEI number field.
