Great Little Gimbal with Very Poor After Sales service

Well, first of all I bought Osmo Pocket from a retail store in Feb .Within first 12 hrs of buying device ,I contacted the retail store since screen was dead to begin with . They would not replace the unit ( usual issue if you buy from brick and mortar store in India ).I was told to contact Dji support ,which I did and they asked me to contact retail store again .During all this time, I contacted many people including the importer of DJI Osmo in India .It took almost a month for the device to be replaced .
Since the replacement ,I have been using this device for a couple of days now.
1 Smallest Gimbal in the market.
2 Video quality is pretty good .
3 Great for selfie panorama .
4 3 x 9 panorama is pretty sick ( No 9 x 9 panorama as of now ) .
5 Ability to shoot 1-2 second hand held night photos /panoramas without much issues .( photos attached in the review )
6 Case included in the package is pretty good .
1 The way it is connected to the phone has inherent issue .Either your phone's USB-C or Lightning port will go bad with regular usage or the dongle ,which comes with the device will break .
2 Lack of availablity of accesories in India.
3 Delicate - Get a Go pro, if you need a camera for rugged use .Osmo pocket isn't meant to replace adventure camera .
4 FOV ( Filed of View ) is about 80 degree - can be b slightly narrow for certain purposes.
5 Battery life is just ok . Battery life takes a massive hit if the device is used with the phone.
6 Only 1080p is available for Timelapse at this point of time.
7 Camera heats up pretty quickly while shooting videos or timelapses.
After Sales Service : DJI doesn't have a Service center for Osmo pocket( Recommend Service center mentioned on DJI's website is not authorised to carry out repairs for Osmo Pocket nor they have parts for the same) .So ,if you need to get it repaired you will have to contact DJI support first ,and once it is determined that device needs repair .You will have to contact Ingram micro somehow for getting it repaired via Hong Kong Service center ( I have confirmed this via DJI support ) .Whole After sales support from DJI is a mess .
Conclusion : It's a great little gimbal with pathetic After sales support in India .
