Received tadka pan 4.5, tadka pan 10, and flat tadka pan 10.5 on time. The items seems to be fine and good. I cannot comment on the quality of iron, but the thickness and size is fine. I am writing this review because I've seen many negative comments like,
The 4.5 inch doesn't sit on the burner without holding - It is meant for seasoning only, not cooking. Doesn't have to stay there for long.
Turns black - It is true. We need to pre-season the pan. It takes long time (approx. a month) and proper care before regular use. When you gain the benefits it is better than non-stick pans.
Doesn't heat very fast - Cast iron cookware are meant for slow cooking, which is the correct way to cook.
Please watch youtube to learn about seasoning iron pans. It needs good care and yields good result as time passes. Clean it with soap for 4-5 times before first use, and the wash it regularly with just salt, without soap. Make it dry and oil it before storing. If you do this regularly it will form a non-stick type coating. It goes off if you use acidic foods likr tomatoes and lemon. You have to do pre-seasoning repeatedly. If you wash it with water dry it immediately.
