Easy to Install Easy to Use
12 October 2018
I was looking for a moderately priced ink-tank printer which could offer multiple functions of print-scan-copy in a wireless mode and support web based and smart phone printing options. I found all these in HP Ink Tank Wireless 410 printer.
Got it today. My observations:
a. Excellent packing
b. Crisp instructions to install
c. Smooth installation process (including wireless set up)
d. Smooth printing (direct, web, via email, smartphone)
e. smudge and spill free ink filling
f. User removable print head
g. Duplex printing (manual change over)
h. Booklet printing that is easy to manage
a. Paper tray has limited capacity
b. You have to be savvy to learn the functioning of Control Panel of the printer (you will need to download manuals from the web)
c. Though the printer comes with installation CD, they encourage you to download the software from the web.
d. Paper out area has a big opening and is likely to have dust accumulation
e. No easy way to do a quick scan (wish they had a shortcut for it)
f. allows paper thickness of upto 90 gsm only (desirable was at least 100)
g. it makes you dump lot of polythene and plastic as a part of installation. Even the print head area has a full packing which one feels bad discarding.
In short, be ready to spend some time to familiarise yourself with the printer.
Despite the cons, it is good value for money. Best in its class, I would feel.
