Being an ardent fan of author, I was looking forward to this latest Jeffery Archer. The expectations were sky high after reading spell binding Clifton Chronicles. But the latest book is predictable and highly disappointing. The characters are loosely bound, does not take a grip. The end is very abrupt and some questions remain unanswered. If you have read earlier books of this master story teller, this books falls short of the high standards..You may give a miss to this book if you are not his die hard fan..
The master of twists and tales is back in form. Sometimes it gets predictable and sometimes you want to race to hear the end of the story. But a new format all together packed in a different crate this time - well worth a read!
Product - Perfect. Book - if you’re a big fan of his, he wouldn’t let you down. If you aren’t , this book is one that will make you read more of his books! JEFFREY ARCHER proves he’s the master, all over again!
I have read all his books and respects him as an author. Was waiting for long for this book and was one of the many who pre-book this novel. Jeffery Archer is excellent Story teller and works up two different versions very well through out but at times it gets confusing and definitely rhe author looses track somewhere towards end. What's the point of whole buildup when disaster has to struck in the end with both the options. Ending was something unfinished....As if rhe author's mind had drifted apart and thinking plot for his next venture. Also at some point the story seems similar to the lines of his other book "Kane & Abel" and "Clifton series". A bit let down but still entertaining.
