Tissaj water dispenser pump - neat, classy, sturdy build and reliable.
1 October 2018
If you are looking for water dispenser that works at the press of a button, then this product is the right one. I use it with my 20L Bisleri bottle and charge it each time I refill. It dispenses roughly 1 lt/30 secs. Press button and it starts press button again and it stops. No wastage of water. No matka pot required. No need to keep jar upside down etc.
- Plastic body but sturdy, motor seems reliable, works well.
- When charging a red LED light inside the button (see photo) comes on.
- First time charging : 4 hours.
- Subsequent charging (when I replace jar) takes 2 hours.
- When full charged, red light goes off.
- When operated, there is a low buzzing sound.
- Flow rate is approx 1lt/30 seconds.
-1800 mAh battery (could not open device to confirm)
I tried to open and see inside the unit it but gave up for fear that I might break the plastic. There are no screws - everything is snap fit.
I'm using a Bisleri 20 lt jar and as you can see from photo, it is not a perfect fit so used some tissue to wrap around mouth of the jar before fitting this unit. However, the unit does NOT need to be air-tight.
The box contains the unit, a tube, silicon gaskets (to be attached to the steel water spout to avoid leakage), and, a long usb cable for charging. There is no charger - you have to use your smartphone charger. The device has a usb charging socket.
Personally, my only concern is the tube. They claim it is a silicon tube - but who has tested it? All similar products make the same claim. Interestingly, Amazon.in does separately sell food grade silicone tube.
Update (after 4 months): Product continues to work fine.
