I'm writing this review after a few months of use. It seems durable enough. There's just a useful thing I figured out quite early. Always pull at an angle (to the right),to keep the pull string from fraying at the rim of the hole (refer to my pic). Then it should last for quite some time. The pull string hasn't frayed yet. And for heaven sake, don't pull on it like a maniac. The blades are really sharp. Pre cut anything into smaller pieces and you get them finely chopped. Carrots for soupsbis such a breeze. I've used it for chillies, garlic, carrots, mushrooms, etc. very effectively. No mixie will do that without creating a frothy mess. Cleaning is easy too. Don't dip the lid in water as it'll wet the string. Just wipe it clean.
