I got a bunch of these tealight candles to avoid the vagaries attached with lighting up my house during Diwali with the old fashioned candles or the diyas. After using this I would say that it will be a part of my shopping list in all the coming Diwalis. PROS 1) You can easily light up 200 or so of these without worrying about the starting ones getting blown off or finished( I lit 200 and still the 1st one was far from being finished). In other words, these candles are unnaturally long lasting. I saw most burning to the last chip of wax. 2) It is good both for internal and external purposes. The short flame of the candle does not blow off even in a gentle breeze. The best part is that it does not leave any aftermark which makes it perfect for interiors as well. 3) The flick is long enough to easily light numerous candles at one go without grappling as is usually the case with tealights from other brands. 4) The aluminium casing makes it durable and good looking at the same time. 5) ₹2.7 per candle is a great bet when the normal candles which last for maximum 30 minutes come at ₹5-10 per piece. Most of the candles that I lit lasted for 4-5 hours. It is more than value for money. CONS 1) The only trouble that I faced was that the double layered packing made the candles stick to each other and I spoilt some of them in the process of detaching them. A layer of paper in between could have avoided that trouble. All in all it is a great product to light up any occasion or add a lease of life to any boring ambience.
i have been buying this product from 2 Diwali its worth its price cause i buy its 4 packets and decorate whole house by this i will give you 5 reasons to buy it 1 it burns slow than the ordinary candles 2 it is brighter if you light up them in bulk 3 easy and potable to carry no risk of breaking 4 can be used as regular candles 5 you can have diya light dinner and trust me its amazing for that
I have seen many people complain about the burn time of the candles. However if you keep the diffuser (with the candle in it) in the some enclosed large bowl or decoration, the burn time will improve. I have attached the pics for your understanding.
I discovered this by accident. Earlier the burn time was 1.5 hours or so but with this setup the candle's burn time improved at least by an hour.
The candles are nicely packaged but what is packaging for when the product is of worst quality. Firstly they are just normal paraffin wax, so accept that they are not smokeless. If you are using in a diffuser, your diffuser is surely going to get into bad shape with a lot of soot in just 30mins of usage. Further sometimes the liquified wax catches fire and can be hazardous. With kids around it is surely dangerous. So if you are buying for indoor purpose, it is a big no. Moreover since they are priced higher in range of smokeless candles, I would surely not suggest them to anyone.
Extreemly bad quality. The candle didn't burn even for few seconds. Within seconds of lighting the entire candle turns into water. This company is cheating their customers. Amazon must look into the quality of the product to protect their own brand image I am holding slmodt the entire stock baring few which we tried to light during Diwali. Finally our Diwali went without light. Who will pay for it? Amazon should penalize the manufacturer and compensate us.
Well, first time Amazon goofed up. I was notified that, "your product was delivered two days ago" whereas nothing was delivered. I got really worried,Kali pujo/ Diwali was approaching very fast and i was super excited about decorating my home. Thanks to super helpful customer care, they replace the order upon receiving my complain. A dummy pick up was generated and i got my product within 48hours. The product was truly value for money. They last for 3 to 4 hours even more when placed indoor. The wick is fastened with a metal plate, so even if you drop the candle, like i did many times, all you have to do is put the wick through the paraffin like you put a thread through a needle and Tada. P.S- Please dont laugh, made rangoli for the first time, that too with the help of YouTube. Kinda dull, but what the heck-Shuva Deepabali guys.
