Display gets lines after a month and Lenovo rejects support

Though a Celeron I still purchased it for infrequent office tasks. Even though I had hardly used it, the display got some wavy lines on it after a month. Contacted lenovo support who claimed I cleaned the display physically and damaged it and thus rejecting free support during warranty.
As they confirmed previously there is no physical damage to the desktop and afterwards they were contradicting themselves. I didn't clean the display and even if I did, is the display supposed to get defects? .
This was all on phone and nobody visited and checked the desktop physically. Pathetic company and support.
