Good product, slightly overpriced

I started moving away from Aluminium, non stick and teflon coated kadhais/ pans. Found this and my wife is in love with this skillet. There is some additional work required for iron skillets but it is worth considering the great taste and health benefits they add to the food.
a. Durable- My wife has used it everyday since we bought it 6 months back and there is no single sign of wear and tear. It rather gets better with time.
b. Value for money- We had bought a branded teflon coated non stick kadahi for approximately the same amount and it lost its coating within a year although we used all precautions like proper spoon and cleaning method. This product is a long runner. I am sure my grand kids are going to use it too.
c. Re-use- If the skillet is properly heated, nothing sticks to it and you can just clean it with water before reusing it again for the next dish. I have seen my wife cook 2-3 items on it back to back.
a. Heavy- You will need to find a good place in your kitchen to keep it.
b. Maintenance- After every use, wash it with water, make it completely dry (a cotton cloth/ 2 minutes on low flame will do) and store it. This becomes a hassle in times of hurry. If this is not followed, there is a chance of rusting.
Process to use it-
a. Cleaning and seasoning- Once you receive it, you will need to clean with mild soap, make it completely dry and apply some regular cooking oil to the entire skillet including outside body and handle.
b. Deep fry- A couple of uses to deep fry food items will ensure perfect seasoning.
c. Washing method- Use mild soap before first use and whenever you see some rusting. Other times just use water and light scrubber to clean it. Dont forget to dry it before storing.
Food items cooked- My wife cooks everything on it- Curry, dry roasted sabzi, deep fry (pakodas/vadas), fried rice, chapati, dosas. At times she also kneads dough in it.
