While being in midst of 1984 mahyem...and having had personal experience and I was bracing of some heart rending stories, tightening of stomach, holding back tears...well not much happened as this book is more in a documentary style then a deep detail emotional account of personal tragedies
(in a novel(ish) way)
I haven't had noticed this - but I definitely now realize how number of sikhs have reduced in Delhi, then what it used to be before.

Accurately dipicts the scenario which led to one of the worst pogroms of our country.

A genuinely compelling read. It demystifies the bloodbath followed Indira Gandhi's assassination sponsored & carried out by hooligan politicians of the Congress party.

It is an eye opener. I was in Delhi at that time but never realised the full extent of the sufferings of the Sikhs.
