Practical, good looking, rectangular baskets with slightly weak wall strength, ideal as an office/table-top organizer
2 July 2018
4 rectangular boxes - 1 medium, 1 small & 2 very small - almost paper tray size leangth & breadth boxes - the 2 very small boxes alone of the regular tray size height of ~6cm - the medium & small boxes having more than the height of a regular tray 10-13cms. On measuring the boxes, LxBxH of each is:
- 1# Medium 35x30x13 cms
- 1# Small 25x20x10 cms
- 2# of Very Small 20x14x6 cms
Just the right set and of the right dimensions to organize your office or table top. Super classy in looks department & a neat neutral brown to blend in with most table/office decors.
The single Medium sized box holds all my long magazines, length of the magazines aligned along the box length & stacked one of top of another & still leaves space around the stack. So if the stack is pushed to align with one of the lengths of the box, we have space around to keep a few more smaller magazines, say with harder covers (like Reader's Digest) along the side spaces (plus a spectacles box in my case!). That's real good storage for an A4 tray+ sized medium box.
The single Small sized box holds my 'in the process of reading' paperbacks & hardbound books. It can go in as stacked one on top of other or as in a book shelf with sides along the box base. Ended up stacking them though as on keeping them as in a bookshelf the walls of the box is kind of bending under the weight of the books. May be as I have around 8-10 books in all, with many hardbounds! Or maybe as that's the main con of the basket set - the plastic weave like wall structure is not tough and hard like, say in a regular laundry basket that can hold a good weight leaning on its walls. That is a point to be noted. It's not of significance if you are okay stacking stuff in these baskets though.
The double Very Small sized boxes are just perfect for holding the very small items on the table. Have one with all the tiny electronics items - the USB cables & mobile chargers & ear phones et al. The other box has the hand cream cans & a tiny penstand/long-tiny-basket holding odomos/creams/pens/mobile-touchstick et al.
Biggest pro is the almost exact rectangular line design that makes these boxes suitable for storage of 'straight line items' like paper, books, magazines etc - with slight curves on corners to give it better looks.
Hope that gives an idea about what each basket holds. Suffice to say all my table top items got cleared away into these 4 baskets & it has tidied up the space a bit. & while wiping down the table or changing table covers, one can easily clear off the table top by just removing these 4 baskets & that's the practical convenience of the organized table space of course other than the obvious aesthetics of it all.
Summary: Practical, good looking, rectangular baskets with slightly weak wall strength, ideal as an office/table-top organizer
