I took four photo prints on glossy A4 sheets and two photo prints on normal A4 sheets: that means total six copies. And there you go, it says the cartridge is exhausted! What a nonsense! Rs. 685 for six photos, that too excluding the photo paper costs! They are telling lies about the number of prints possible. Maybe it may be possible to take 150 colour prints with this with a lot of white space, like an MS word document with a few heading lines in colours. I have HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2135 which I bought a couple of weeks ago. Neither the printer nor this cartridge is meant for photo printing.
This NEW ORIGINAL cartridge (Appario Retail HP 680 Original Ink Advantage Cartridge (Black)Pvt Ltd) is not working properly. The printing is smudged. When I fixed it the first time, HP printers do a test print and alignment, But the printing was smudged and the alignment was not taking place. I tried it multiple time but with all it was the same result.
I have bought more than 2 to 3 black HP cartridges from Amazon (not sure if it is the same supplier) and I have never had a problem.
I think 100 pages prints is what i got out of original cartridge and i expect not more than that with these new pair of cartridges. Printer may be cheap but the cartridges are not considering they only print 100 pages per pair. Ink level looks perfectly fine on the first look after installing. I will be writing a follow up review after these cartridges gets empty.
